We are glad to be home after a long day of travel. We were bumped to a later flight (but they upgraded us both to first class), diverted to Edmonton, had a long 3 hour delay and then a bumpy ride home. Twenty hours later - HOME. Oh, and lost our camera. No pictures.

WE'RE BACK
After 17 days of Europe, we are back. It was a wonderful trip, but very tiring. A vacation with Dave requires extremely good walking shoes since we walk nonstop until bedtime. We saw so many neat things and really loved Paris (of course) . I loved the food, the beauty of the city and the parisian style. The women look so lovely and the men (!WOW) We ate lots of yummy crepes, which the tiny french women obviously don't eat. London is a shopping haven. Harrods was an unbelievable store with every designer under one roof. An entire floor devoted to handbags! (My Roots purse was laughable and oh so not up to standard) We stayed in a fabulous B&B in South Kensington which is an upscale part of London so we didn't see anything unsavory on the entire trip. We found a great gelato place that we ate at everyday (again, the french women apparently don't eat gelato either). We had superb access to the tube and used the metro exclusively and took the chunnel to Paris. Norway was coldish and quaint (which you would expect) and an ancient culture. It didn't have the grand beauty of London or Paris and was rugged and rough. You could imagine the vikings with a hambone in one hand a woman in the other, their red hair flying behind them as they terrorized the cobblestone paths. It was beautiful and Banffish in a way (in that it was cold, in the mountains and you would have to wear a sweater year round)
