An Indian summer is a meteorological phenomenon that occurs in the autumn. It refers to a period of considerably warmer than normal temperatures, accompanied by dry hazy conditions.
Whatever it is called, it has been a fantastic fall. Hopefully winter will be gentle on us too.
I LOVE FALL! it's still pretty green here in rexburg though.
