HILL'S ROOM

Hillary has been married for 6 months now, and every time I walk by her room my heart feels like it is breaking. I had to hold my breath so I wouldn't feel so sad knowing that she is gone and will only be back occasionally. I decided that the best therapy would be to redo her room and give it a different feel. Out with her old things and in with some more old things. I changed the colors from pink and black with a Marilyn Monroe feel, to soothing, grown-up spa-like Benjamin Moore Glass Block. I am pleased with the results and now I can walk by the open door without crying. I found most everything on sale or at super cheap prices. The headboard was an unbelievable $3.99! The nightstands were $25.00 each, the bedding on sale at Potterybarn and the frames were ones I had that just needed new paint. I have cleaned and painted a lot this week, but I think the new room looks great and seems to say "Hillary, hurry home and visit your mom"!
