I have been a Kitchen Martyr since we moved into this house 16 years ago. My kitchen is the original 35 year old, complete without any fabulous things that come with modern technology . No granite, no sink disposal, no stainless steel, no hardwood, no workspace planning, no task lighting...but I do have a 24" pantry. Whoohoo! I figured that since I am not getting a kitchen makeover (that I desperately needed, like 15 years ago) that I would just repaint the cupboard.
After painting, I realized that my color inspiration was not the robin's egg in spring, nor the azure waters of a tropical island, but Tiffany Jewelry box blue? (can't tell from the picture, but it is exact). If I can't have the $100,000 kitchen makeover or the Tiffany jewelry, at least I can be inspired everyday when I open my tiny, crappy pantry in my tiny, crappy kitchen by a beautiful color. (Dave, are you reading this?)
