ABBEY STYLE

I have become a fan of Downton Abbey.  (Late to get onto this show, I know).  I watched all 3 seasons over a weekend and feel I know the characters well and wish my favourites hadn't had such tragic deaths.  I can't wait until season 4 starts and we pick up with Mary and the gang.  I really think Mary and I have a lot in common - at least in our sense of fashion.  If I had been born an aristocrat in the 1800's,  I would have worn the same beautiful clothes she does.  It was such a lovely time for fashion and everyone looked so respectable and proper.  No wobbly bits hanging out and exposed.  And I like that the skirts were long since my legs need covering now and they wore hats which would be good for bad hair days.  

And my all time favourite character is of course, Violet.  She says it like it is.
