RAIN AND FLOODING

Calgary has flooded!  With days of continual rain, the rivers have overflowed their banks, and Calgary is in a state of emergency.  Hundreds of thousands have been evacuated and likely will be returning to damaged homes.  We are safe in our home because we are on high ground, but friends have been displaced and my elderly parents are basically homeless and living at my sister's.  These are scary times!

LIfe as we know it has changed.  I am so sad that my parents are flooded out of their new house that they have spent the last 6 months renovating.  I don't know how everything recovers, but with hard work and prayers we will rebuild this great city.
